The Mucha Museum offers you a unique view into the world of Alphonse Mucha (1860 – 1939), one of the most celebrated artists of the Art Nouveau period.

Prague – The Náprstek ´s Museum of Asian, African and American cultures

Vojta Náprstek (1826 – 1894) had to emigrate to the USA in the 1848. When he came back, he established the Czech Industry Museum. The museum obtained ethnographical and art collections from the whole Europe. The museum was nationalized in the year  
1932 and was renamed to The Náprstek ´s. The collection were divided between the others museums during the 2nd world war and it was definitely renamed to The Náprstek ´s Museum of Asian, African and American cultures in the year 1962. www.nm.cz
Library of the Náprstek ´s Museum: is for public. There are many books, periodicals and three archives (family, compatriot, traveler ´s ), the collection of photos, pictures and the inventory of the Náprstek ´s household.
